About the Colorado Mountain Club

The Colorado Mountain Club (CMC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting individuals who have a passion for the Colorado Rockies or those seeking to study or recreate in them. Since 1912, CMC has focused on improving the livelihood of individuals and the environment through outdoor recreation, conservation, and education.

Gear to Grow and Colorado Mountain Club Partnership

Gear to Grow has supported the Colorado Mountain Club since January 2011. Since connecting with the CMC at the Outdoor Retailer winter market tradeshow, Gear to Grow has donated snowshoes, a headlamp, a stove, clothing, and multiple pairs of socks to CMC. The equipment will be used for CMC’s Youth Education Program and conservation volunteer projects.
