About Outward Bound Adventures

Located in Pasadena, California, Outward Bound Adventures, Inc. (OBA) is a 501(c)(3) public non-profit organization that serves urban underserved youth, young adults and their families in the Los Angeles area. More than 90% of OBA participants fall below the established federal poverty level.  OBA offers personal development, conservation career and environmental stewardship programs in both classroom and wilderness settings to approximately 1,100 participants a year.  OBA activities and initiatives promote self-empowerment, integrity, accountability, health, community service and environmental stewardship.

Gear to Grow and OBA Partnership

Gear to Grow has worked with OBA for approximately two years. Throughout their partnership, Gear to Grow has donated variety of camping gear and apparel including base layers, jackets, camper clothing, stove repair kits and boots.
